We are happy to announce another webinar to help small businesses navigate the challenges and opportunities of a new and unsettling economic landscape: Grant Writing Best Practices for Small and Micro Businesses.

Small business owners are not used to writing grants, and most grantmakers don't typically fund for-profit enterprises. But things are different now, and the urgent realities of a pandemic have unlocked emergency funding options that often don't allow much time to prepare. The SAVES Resolution recently passed by Austin City Council will be deploying $15M in funding for live music venues, legacy businesses, and childcare providers, and we want you to be ready to go when applications open.

At this webinar, Harriet Sedgwick of the Texas Grants Resource Center of the University of Texas at Austin will offer grantwriting pointers to help you develop a stronger application, as well as additional resources that can benefit your business.

This event is hosted through the Zoom webcasting platform and is free and open to all local business owners and managers. A link to join the meeting will be sent once you RSVP. Participants are encouraged to submit specific questions beforehand via email.
