We were thrilled to be able to be of service to Austin Small Business Relief Grant applicants over the summer. Our hours of support calls revealed the need for some continuing education on bookkeeping for small and micro businesses, including specific advice for for sole proprietors. Lauren Gann, CPA PLLC has graciously agreed to walk us through a primer for small businesses so they can get set up for success. Having a handle on your books not only lets you make sound financial decisions, it also lets you move quickly and speak intelligently about your business when funding opportunities arise.

Lauren has 16 years of accounting and auditing experience and works with organizations of all sizes, from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 companies. She currently focuses on working with small businesses to help them get accurate financial results quickly, clean up bookkeeping problems, and lend accounting experience to their needs.

The format of this event will be informal and open discussion is welcome. Participants are encouraged to submit specific questions beforehand via email.

This online meetup is hosted through the Zoom webcasting platform. A link to join the meeting will be sent once you RSVP.

This conversation is open to all local business owners and managers. Global pandemic or not, AIBA works tirelessly to support and advocate for Austin's local business community. Thank you for your support and for participating!
