What is the point of being in business? Is it only to make money? Have fun? Build community?
In this timely exploration, we will consider the gifts provided by our businesses. How do they nourish our customers and our communities? How do they nourish the people who work there?
Through lecture, discussion and sharing experiences, we will come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the way in which our business, much like the gift of art, “enters into the give-and take that ensures the livelihood of the spirit.” When imagination and generosity take their place alongside critical reasoning skills, we then have a formula not only for business success but for that something enduring that makes our world a better place.
